Software Evaluation Agreement:

Upon request for a demonstration model, a Software Evaluation Agreement will be sent to the Evaluator  This MS Word copy  should be filled out, signed and returned to Scope, LLC, 96 Ledges Lane, Afton VA 22920.  Upon approval by  Scope, LLC,  a co-signed copy of the agreement along with a copy of the Software will be returned to Evaluator.

Demonstration Model Installation:

The demonstration model can be installed from the Software.  Scope, LLC will assist without charge approved Evaluators in this installation.

The Microsoft Visual Basic 6.0  Service Pack 6 Package and Deployment Wizard was used to determine and store the required Windows system files in the .cab file.  The .zip files on the Software contain the required OSP program and data files.  Running the 'setup.exe' file from the Software will create the user's folder for the OSP files and store the required Windows system files on the user's computer.

This package has been successfully installed and tested on Windows Vista/XP/98/95.

The following files on the Software were created using the MS Wizard:

        ospdemo.cab
        setup.exe
        setup.lst

The file ‘ospdemo.cab’ contains the compressed program file and Windows system files for VB 6.0 needed to run OSP program files

The file 'setup.exe' is used to set up directory and system files required

The file 'setup.lst' contains a list of program and system files required

The file 'ospexe.zip' contains the zipped executable files for the demo package

The file 'ospdata.zip' contains the zipped data files for the demo package

The file 'ospupd.zip' contains the zipped updated files for the demo package

To install the OSP demo package, from the Software:

1 - Run the executable 'setup.exe' to create an OSP directory of your choice and extract necessary system files from 'ospdemo.cab' into the Windows System directory

2 - Extract zipped executable files from 'ospexe.zip' into chosen OSP directory

3 - Extract zipped data files from 'ospdata.zip' into chosen OSP directory

3 - Extract zipped updated files from 'ospupd.zip' into chosen OSP directory

The extracted files require about 26 megabytes of free disk space

To examine the demonstration model, run the executable file ‘OSPDEMO.EXE’ located in the chosen OSP directory.

Building Test Models:

It is recommended that the data for a test operational database be kept to a minimum and the forms filled out and sent to scopellc@ntelos.net for setting up.  Scope, LLC will assist the accepted Evaluator in building and analyzing such a test operational database.

Click on  Build  for detailed instructions in building these test operational databases.
