The Database module provide the following procedures :

Setup and Build OSP.MDB This procedure provides a method for initializing the database information on customer orders, demand history, demand forecasts, manufacturing chain processes, products, functions, machine types, product constructions, standards, and available resources. The Rebuild or Build option prepares the database for the Demand Planning procedures.

Database Tables and Data Files  This procedure provides the methods for viewing and updating database tables and data files initialized by the Setup and Build OSP.MDB procedure.  Database tables can be exported to data files for editing or updating off-line.  These corrected data files can then be imported to update the database table.

Resource Requirements This procedure provides a method for determining the material and machine resource requirements for each end product across the manufacturing chain. It shows information on the processes, products, .functions, machine types, product constructions, and machine standards related to each end product.
