The Supply Planning module provides the following procedures:

Schedule and Resource Analysis  This procedure first takes the criteria for analyzing the customer orders and demand forecasts for selected planning periods and determines if realizable schedules can be made that meet the customer demand and stay within the manufacturing resource constraints, indicating processes where production bottlenecks and product shortfalls occur,. The analyses show the impact these schedules have on the financial and production-related resource variables. Work-in-process inventories and material purchases are analyzed in this procedure.  The following are sample screens from these analyses:

        Schedules

Process Schedules

Capacity Utilization

Schedule Resources

Production and Inventory Analysis  This procedure first takes the criteria for analyzing the customer orders and demand forecasts for multi-period planning and determines if realizable production, shipment, and inventory plans can be made that meet the customer demand and stay within the manufacturing resource constraints, indicating processes where production bottlenecks and product shortfalls will occur,.  The analyses show the impact the production, shipment, and inventory plans have on the financial and production-related resource variables.  The following are sample screens from these analyses:

         Customer Orders
         PLF Demand Orders
         PLF Demand Orders LIA
         PLF Demand Orders RA

Demand Forecasts
         PLF Scheduled Production
         PLF Scheduled Production LIA
         PLF Scheduled Production RA

All Demand

PLF Projected Inventory

The Optimized Strategic Planning module must first determine optimum strategic plans for single-period or multi-period selections before the plans can be analyzed in this module.
